That means: Some treatments may result in light flaking.
More advanced corrective work may result in visible peeling for several days. Our double treatment, layers mechanical resurfacing with chemical exfoliation, spacing is determined intentionally and may require additional recovery time.

What You Should Know Before Your Resurfacing Treatment
Is microdermabrasion safe?
Yes — when performed correctly and with proper evaluation. Diamond microdermabrasion removes approximately 20% of the outermost layer of the epidermis (stratum corneum) to stimulate regeneration without damaging deeper layers.
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe the sensation as mildly scratchy with suction. Discomfort is minimal. Skin may appear pink and feel slightly sun-kissed for a few hours.
How often can I have it?
Frequency depends on your skin and goals.
• Maintenance refinement: monthly or every other month
• Corrective programs: spaced intentionally, often every two weeks
• Advanced double exfoliation (Prana Renewal): spacing may be extended depending on response
This is customized — not standardized.
Who should avoid microdermabrasion?
Clients with active infections, uncontrolled rosacea, open wounds, recent Accutane use, or certain medical conditions should avoid treatment.
If there is ever uncertainty, I require photos prior to booking. I will not compromise skin integrity for experimentation.
Will I peel?
With Rupa Ritual alone, you may experience light dryness or flaking.
With Prana Renewal, especially at higher corrective levels, visible peeling is possible for several days.
What permanently removes brown spots?
Microdermabrasion improves pigmentation over time. Deeper correction may require clinical peels, laser, or other advanced modalities. During consultation, we determine the most effective path for you.
