The Meaning and Origin of the Name Ashvini — Sanskrit (Hindu tradition)
The name Ashvini is born from Sanskrit, carrying the gentle meaning of “born of a horse” or “horse keeper.” It speaks to a bond as old as time — the bond between humans and horses, built on trust, care, and devotion.

My Story. My Why.

Ashvini Spa was born from both passion and purpose. For nearly a decade, Lakota’s Farm has been a place of joy — filled with weddings, celebrations, and love echoing through the barn. Those moments will always continue to hold a sacred place in my heart. But deep within me was another calling — to create a space for healing, restoration, and intentional care.

Ashvini Spa is that sanctuary. Here, every service is designed to nurture the whole self — body, mind, and spirit. We’re growing gently in phases, with facials, massage therapy and a small circle of independent practitioners who share my vision: to guide people toward balance, peace, and renewal.

The name Ashvini means light in Sanskrit and carries a sacred connection to the horse — chosen in honor of both the spirit of renewal and Lakota, my beloved horse who has carried me through so many seasons of life. Just as Lakota has been my steady companion, my hope is that Ashvini Spa will carry you toward wholeness, light, and joy.

This is only the beginning… in time, Ashvini Spa will grow into more — wellness events, retreats, and holistic practices that bring people together in meaningful and beautiful ways.

Meet Kimberly...

I’m Kimberly, the founder of Ashvini Spa — Ashvini Spa is the truest reflection of my heart. My journey in wellness began years ago when I managed a large spa, where I discovered how powerful it is to create a space of peace, healing, and care for others. That experience sparked something deep inside me, and soon after, I opened my own spa — a place I poured my whole soul into for eight years.

It became more than a business; it was a community, a haven, and a place where I could share my passion for helping others feel whole again. Letting that chapter go was bittersweet, because it never truly left me — the work, the clients, and the joy of it all have always stayed close to my heart.

With over 30 years in the hospitality and wellness industries, I’ve worn many hats — licensed aesthetician, nail specialist, spa owner, event curator — but the common thread has always been people. My greatest passion is creating spaces where others can slow down, breathe deeply, and feel truly seen and cared for.

Ashvini Spa is the continuation of that love story. It’s not just about facials, massage, or nail care — it’s about offering intentional, holistic experiences that restore balance, beauty, and joy from the inside out. My hope is that when you walk through our doors, you’ll feel the same spirit of care and light that has carried me on this journey.
