At Lakota's Farm, our roots run deep, shaping everything we do. This connection to the land and its history led us to the perfect name for our event: the "Buffalo Sunrise Festival."

Everything here on the farm has comes from the heart and has a story

Over 40 years ago, long before we became Lakota's Farm, this land was known as the Buffalo Sunrise Ranch. Back then, majestic bison roamed freely, embodying the wild and untamed spirit of the farm. That name, Buffalo Sunrise, felt like the perfect bridge between our past and our future. We knew it would be the heartbeat of our Artisan Markets, tying together the legacy of the land with the fresh energy of what we’ve created today.
And so, with great excitement, we present to you our newly named festivals, each carrying its own story and meaning that’s close to our hearts.

Buffalo Sunrise Spring Artisan Market
"Buffalo" connects us to our farm’s history, grounding us in the heritage of this land. "Sunrise" not only pays homage to our farm's original namesake, but it also speaks to what that word represents to us. A sunrise symbolizes birth, growth, and new beginnings of all kinds. It carries with it a sense of resurrection, creation, and the hope of something cherished coming into being. Every dawn at Lakota's Farm is a reminder of these promises, and we’re excited to share this spirit with you through our festivals.
